Socialists in Office

From City Hall to Washington D.C., our Socialists in Office are building power for working people.

Who are Socialistsin Office?

Socialists in Office, or SIOs for short, are democratic socialists who are elected to public office in New York and are endorsed by our chapter. SIOs continually strategize and coordinate with our chapter and each other in order to achieve our collective goals. We have coordination bodies for SIOs at the city, state, and federal level. This provides necessary support for them to navigate the pressures of politics and empowers them to lead with their democratic socialist principles.
