THURSDAY: THOUSANDS OF UNION WORKERS, LABOR LEADERS, AND WORKING NEW YORKERS RALLY FOR PEACE AND JUSTICE FOR PALESTINE

Protesters call on elected officials to demand an immediate and permanent ceasefire and vote no on $14 Billion in US military aid for Israel

New York, NY–Thursday, on the steps of the New York Public Library, United Auto Workers (UAW) Region 9A, American Postal Workers Union (APWU), United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America (UE) Eastern Region, Amazon Labor Union (ALU), National Writers Union (NWU), United Musicians and Allied Workers (UMAW), Rutgers American Association of University Professors – American Federation of Teachers (AAUP-AFT), Committee of Interns and Residents (CIR/SEIU) and more workers join the New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (NYC-DSA) and a broad coalition to call for peace and justice for Palestine. This powerful coalition of labor unions, worker centers, worker co-ops, rank-and-file unionists, Palestinian, Jewish, Muslim and community organizations representing tens of thousands of New Yorkers demand an immediate, permanent ceasefire and call on elected officials to vote no on $14 billion in aid to Israel.
